Abstract

This research utilizes the Interacting Boson Model (IBM-1) to calculate the energy levels and their ratios, as well as the B(E2) transition probabilities between even-even energy levels of tungsten isotopes 170-172W. By comparing the theoretical calculations with experimental data, the study demonstrates that the IBM-1 model provides reliable estimates of both energy levels and B(E2) values. The findings underline the model's efficacy in understanding the nuclear structure of tungsten isotopes and its potential to predict future energy levels and electromagnetic transition probabilities. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the collective behavior of nucleons within a nucleus and reinforces the IBM-1 model as a valuable tool for nuclear physics research.
