Abstract
MEMS design optimization uses different tools from its macroscopic counterpart, making it hard to apply the anti-optimization technique. Using the same method as in the macroworld would make anti-optimization unacceptably slow, but with a different algorithm similar but not precise results can be achieved on an acceptable time scale. In some special circumstances, the algorithm can be made significantly faster by imposing a constraint in the search space.
